A manual DIRECTIONAL SWITCH (L) manually controls the forward and reverse rotation of the feed roll.

The large RED Emergency Stop button stops the entire machine in the event it is needed.

The feeder or ram is started in motion by pressing the GREEN feeder start button (G) and stopped by pressing the RED feeder STOP button (H).

The KID III exclusive “AUTO CYCLE” feeding system controls the flow of material to the extra duty rotor and hammers. When the rpm of the rotor drops to a pre-set level, the feeding system pauses until the rpm returns to the operating range. If the hydraulic system approaches the bypass valve pressure, indicating a blockage of the feed roll or feeder, both the feed roll and feeder are reversed for a pre-set time, attempting to clear the blockage.
